Robert Pelley
Graduated from GA
in 1962. BA in Political Science from
Memorial in 67.
Went off to Edmonton as a young Lieutenant with the
Princess
Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry. After a tour in Cyprus,
went to the French
Language School in St.Jean d'Iberville and was sent
to Valcartier as
an exchange officer with the Royal 22e Régiment. During
a 2nd tour in
Cyprus, this time with the R22R, he became a permanent
member of the
Régiment. Left the Army in 75 to become the Director of
Security for
Quebec gov't property in the Quebec City region. Did a
Master's degree in
public administration at "l'École Nationale
d'Administration
Publique". Worked in a number of senior gov't jobs in
Quebec
and as an international consultant. Married to a local lass,
Christine, and
have two kids.
