Graduated Memorial University B.A.(Ed.).  Taught school at Gander, Dartmouth, NS and Glovertown.  Married Dr. R.J. Janes, Dental Surgeon.  They have two sons in Calgary and South Korea.

Managed her husband’s dental practice until their retirement in 2007.

Living at Gander, active in the Rotary Club and Kiwanis, Likes to travel.
