Military Badges  Associated with Gander (part 2)

As promised, I did some more research ref Ferry Command and have some stuff to up-date the original page

 

Front of envelop, sent 05 November 1942 to a supplier, Anchor Packing Company.  I think that this was a subsidiary of a US company from Pittsburgh.  Anchor Packing had offices in Montreal at least up to 1956 where they made among other things “Motorite Asbestos Yarn Gaskets”
 


 

Back of envelop where it states that the reply should be sent to the “Air Officer Commanding in Chief” and not to any individual. Looks like the boss kept a pretty tight grip!

a later gold color cloth badge, similar to the silver one but may have been for a senior rank
