I have several airplne pictures here of Gander in 1943, when my uncle Earl Tattire was in the RCAF, not sure they relate to the CBC show just shown.  The one with him with his arm 'around' the plane (they must have been small), he has written in white ink, "First Flight"  but I don't know what that means.The group photo was taken in Gander, and I only know my uncle in there.  Mom put an x on his shoulder.  He was Mom's twin brother.
